The Committee of Management is defined by rule 10 of the Constitution, and is comprised of 7 financial members of Western Australian Community Access Networks (WACAN) Inc.
Each committee member is elected for a term of 2 years, which starts from the date of his or her election at an Annual General Meeting (AGM) and continues until the second AGM after his or her election. The terms of committee members are staggered, so that no more than 4 committee positions can be up for election at any one AGM.
The WACAN Committee of Management is comprised of:

Reyhan Lange-Kapancioglu
Committee Member term ’16 – ’18
I’ve been a part of WACAN since the very beginning learning the tech and helping with smaller roles such as organising social get togethers for members and fundraising for the association. Since being elected to the committee in 2016, I’m looking to kick start more social events and fundraisers as well as more technical meetups for members and people interested in becoming a part of our nerdy family.
Kieran Wallace
Committee Member term ’16 – ’18
An avowed tech head and gadget buff, Kieran has been tinkering and engineering anything with an LED since he could crawl. Currently employed the Infrastructure Manager for a national conglomerate, he brings a wealth of experience from his time in a number of technical roles across the Telco and Enterprise spaces, along with a love of strong coffee and single-malt scotch. He was elected to the committee in 2016.
